PAYMENT​​​​

• Payment must be made upfront

WORK FLOW​

• STEP 1 - Design brief must be made between the artist and the customer

  • Detailed account of what is needed before any work is done. Guess work must be eliminated for the benefit of the artist and the customer.​ ​​Anything added that was not described in this step will come with an additional charge. MAKE SURE CONCEPTS ARE CLEAR AND CONCISE! Be reasonable in your request, meaning don't have an impossible request or something that does not make sense. I will suggest something else, use my creative control, or decline the offer.

• STEP 2 - Sketch/ line work​

  • Previews can be requested​

  • 2 free edits are allowed, anything after that is charged. 

  • Certain aspects can not be asked to edit (i.e. an outfit change, outfit addition or subtraction, background change or anything that makes me have to redraw it completely.)

• STEP 3 - Shadows​

  • Once line work is completed, edits are not possible at this point​

• STEP 4 - Colors

  • 2 free edits can are allowed, anything after that is charged​

  • Line work and shadows can not be edit at this point.

• STEP 5 - Final render​

  • NO CHANGES AT THIS POINT ARE POSSIBLE​

WHAT TO NOT ASK FOR OR TELL ME TO DO

• Killing someone

• Drug use

• Offensive imagery

• To copy someone else's style

• Project files

• Telling me how to do my job

  • You don't tell a mechanic how to fix your car, don't tell me how to make your art. That's with all due respect.

REFUNDS​​

• You have no right to cancel or demand a refund from the artist under any circumstances after payment are received.

• A refund can be issued at the artist's discretion, or if situations absolutely call for it.

RIGHTS

• ​ARTIST

  • I, the artist, hold every right to the produced artwork, not the customer

  • I, the artist, am allowed to use the artwork in anyway I see fit

  • I, the artist, is owed a percentage of any sales using the artwork, such as merchandise.

• CUSTOMER​

  • The customer holds the rights to any character created and IP's, not the images themselves​

  • The customer is allowed the use of the artwork with proper credit

  • PURCHASED RIGHTS TO THE ARTWORK IS ALLOWED UPON COMPLETION OF A 200% FEE

DEADLINES​

• Commissions can be completed anywhere between 5 days to a month AFTER payment depending on complexity of commission

• If a specific date is needed for completion please let me know in the design brief

• NO LAST MINUTE/ SAME DAY COMMISSIONS

The main takeaway from all of this is to just be clear and detailed upfront about what you want. If that happens there will be no issues and things will run smoothly. I am very easy to work with and understanding. At the same time, this is a business and business needs to be conducted appropriately.
